Angelica Music CD

“Angelica” - (Creative Ensemble)

Introduction
I am forming an exclusive group of creative individuals who will work together in a fully supportive environment, where freedom of expression and creativity are core beliefs.

Membership is invitation only and completely free (We all need to agree on further people joining)

The collective will be known as Angelica
------------------------------
Ethos
To actively demonstrate that creativity is the greatest tool for changing the planet and have a fantastic time in the process.
------------------------------
Immediate goals
To (where feasible) meet at 2000 on 19th and/or 26th October 2008 (new dates pending) at the Jolly Farmers in Purley, Surrey. To meet and perform at the open mic night.

After this I will fund the some practice sessions (if needed) and the production of a CD (hopefully double). I will like it produced and ready for sale by the 1st December, I will organise marketing, sales, distribution etc

Once I have recouped costs (which Lek and myself will fully document and publish), we will then share any profits across the board equally in a completely open and fair manner (i.e. based on number of songs recorded, time inputted etc). I can pay performers a fee up front for recording time if required

Basically, apart from donating time to play/practice/record (which I know you all do anyway) and travel costs, you have absolutely nothing to lose participating
------------------------------
Anticipated Line up (providing you all agree of course, I have back ups if needed)

Rob Cushman (Guitarist/vocalist)
Chaz (Sax)
Al (Harmonica/Guitar/Vocalist)

Lorraine (Sales/Marketing)

This list is in no way complete, its just an immediate list I know/met/admire. Anyone you directly know and trust is welcome to join (I must’ve forgotten some people also) once they have met some of the others
------------------------------
Song list

Completely flexible, everyone gets to choose and perform at least 2 songs. The only thing I ask is that you are as creative as possible (i.e no backing tracks please) and give it 100%

I’m recording at the moment (with help)
Dio (Tenacious D)
Hit the Road Jack (R. Charles)
Luna
Nothing else matters (Metalica)
The last Time (Stones)
------------------------------
Conclusion

Once my costs are regained, any profit I make from this will go directly to funding an orphanage in Mumbai and the Kenly Youth Club (opening in October), donations are welcome, but in no way expected.
